Unlock Everything
At the main menu, press L, R, Up, Down, L, R, Left, Right, R, R, Right.
Sound test
Successfully complete Boss Rush mode to unlock the sound test selection at the options menu.
Bonus free battle mode characters
Defeat Juckie Chun, Taopaipai, Son Gohan, and Tenshinhan in the story mode free battles to unlock the corresponding character in free battle mode. Defeat Cyber Taopaipai in survival mode after unlocking Piccolo to unlock Cyber Taopaipai in free battle mode. Successfully complete the game with Gokou and Klylin to unlock Piccolo in free battle mode.
Tenshinhan for tournament mode
Defeat Tenshinhan with Goku in story mode to unlock Tenshinhan for tournament mode.
Taopaipai in tournament mode
Defeat Taopaipai with Goku in story mode to unlock Taopaipai in tournament mode.
Son Gohan in tournament mode
Defeat Son Gohan with Goku in story mode to unlock Son Gohan in tournament mode.
Piccolo in tournament mode
Successfully complete the game with Krillin to unlock Piccolo in tournament mode.
Cyborg Taopaipai in tournament mode
Defeat Cyborg Taopaipai in the last level of tournament mode to unlock Cyborg Taopaipai in tournament mode.
Juckie Chun in tournament mode
Defeat Juckie Chun with Goku in story mode to unlock Juckie Chun in tournament mode.
Piccolo
Successfully complete the game with Krillin to unlock Piccolo.
SSJ1 Goku
Go to Roshi and talk, then steal Baba's ball and take it to Korin. At the end of the game sequence, Goku will transform into SSJ1, after which the credits will start. You will be allowed to play a New Game+, in which you can use SSJ1 Goku. This will allow you to play through to Freiza.
King Piccolo
Successfully complete the game with Goku to unlock King Piccolo.
Krillin
Successfully complete the game with with Goku to unlock Krillin.
Rock breaking and Korin's Tower mini-games
Successfully complete the game with Goku to unlock the Rock Breaking and Korin's Tower mini-games.
Extra mode
Successfully complete story mode with Goku to unlock Extra mode.
Survival in free battle mode
Successfully complete story mode with Goku to unlock Survival in free battle mode.
Boss mode
Successfully complete the game with Goku and Krillin to unlock Boss mode.
