Easiest Job Mastering Method

Note: This only works on classes where you can scroll down and up on their skills list. Also, you must have enough JP to buy a skill. Doing this cheat on the Summoner class will allow you to buy all of the skills, but the game won't classify Summoner as a mastered class.

When you go into a classes skill list, select any skill you can buy. When the confirmation window comes up and asks you if you want to buy the skill, hold Square. Press Up or Down while holding Square and you'll see that the skill list scrolls down/up as well. If you are highlighting a skill that can't be purchased yet and the skill you selected isn't on screen, then try to buy the skill. One of two things will happen: Either all of the skills can be bought or they can't. If none of the skills can be bought, check the JP for that class. If you have 0000 JP, then the cheat worked. This also applies if they are all available to buy. Exit out of the skill section, back to the Abilities setup screen. Then go back to the skill list you used the cheat on. You will have 9999 JP, more than enough to buy all of the skills.

Solo Ramza Challenge Recommendations

This is an optional challenge. The challenge is to complete the game using only Ramza. It is very easy to do, but at times it can be difficult. There is a complete strategy guide to the SR Challenge on GameFAQs. Below is a list of the best method of completing this challenge.

1.Try to go through the game without going into random battles. If a random battle occurs, reset the game.

2.Before removing units, remove all equipment from them. This way, just in case equipment gets stolen, you'll have spare equipment.

3.Master the Calculator job as quickly as possible. It becomes very useful later on in the game.

4.Use the MP Switch/Move-MP Up combo in almost every battle you are in. MP Switch allows you to take MP damage instead of HP damage if you have any MP left, and Move-MP UP makes sure you have at least some MP left. MP Switch will activate very often no matter how little MP you have.

5.The first level really requires that you have 2 Chemists other than yourself in the battle for healing, so it really doesn't count as a SR Challenge battle. Also, in the same battle, if Delita doesn't kill the Squire that attacks him first on his second turn, reset the game as the Chemist will heal that Squire and all the opponents will swarm you.

6.If you die, reset the game unless there's a guest Unit close by who knows Phoenix Down of the Chemist job and has Item as the secondary skill. If they fail to heal you on the first chance, they won't attempt to revive you through the rest of the fight and will let you turn into a crystal.

7.The Yell/Accumulate combo will be required a lot in the beginning. By those two skills ASAP.

If you follow these procedures and use the strategy guide, then you can beat the game in around 13 hours with only the main character.

Shinobi job

The Shinobi job isn't a job that requires you to attain certain job levels. It is actually a Ninja/Samurai/Lancer/Geomancer combo. Here is how to set up a Unit as a Shinobi:

Ninja Job Jump (Lancer) Blade Grasp (Samurai) Attack UP (Geomancer) Ignore Height (Lancer)

For best results, use the Easiest Job Mastering Method to obtain the required skills for a Shinobi much quicker.

Omega Ramza

This is the most powerful setup for Ramza. It only works in Chapter 2 or further. It requires mastery of Ninja, Squire, Time Mage, and Samurai. For the best results, get to highest job level for these four classes. After these requirements have been fullfilled, set up Ramza as listed below:

Job:Squire Secondary Job Command:Math Skill Reaction:Blade Grasp Support:Two Swords Movement:Teleport

Also attach a PA-increasing Accessory to him and raise his permenant Brave to 95-100. Once you accomplish this, Ramza will be able to do devastating damage, block almost every physical attack, attack a second time just in case he doesn't kill the enemy with the first hit, and move up to 13 spaces in one turn. If you use this setup after getting Orlandu and copying his Excalibur, you can make Ramza be protected from Holy damage and strengthen his Holy spell when using the Math Skill version, thus making him strong enough to take out 5 Black Chocobos on his own.

God Ramza

God Ramza is an incredibly powerful Ramza with or without weapons. To get him, first you must master Squire, Monk, Samurai, and Knight. You must also be at the highest job level with these classes. Set up Ramza like this:

Monk Class Secondary Skill:Guts Reaction:Blade Grasp Support:Equip Armor Movement:Move +1

Constantly use Scream in battle and equip Ramza with the Bracer as an Accessory and eventually you'll end up with a Ramza that does up to 999 damage on human Units and is almost untouchable.

Music test (Japanese version)

Enter "B-G-M-Ki-Ki-Ta-I" as a name.

Score challenge mode (Japanese version)

Obtain the Book Of Life in Chapter two. Then, stop reading the book before reaching the "Good Ending". Now read through the book again to access a hidden "Score Challenge mode". This mode allows the Chocobo Race sequence to be played for money.

Control screen brightness (Japanese version)

In the "Sound Novel", press L1 to increase or R1 to decrease the brightness.

Obtain strong weapons

Enter the Deep Dungeon (or explore around the Deep Dungeon) and fight random battles. After awhile a battle with a few male ninjas and one female ninja will begin. The ability catch on all of you characters must be present. Kill all of the male ninjas during the beginning of the battle. Then, wait until the female ninja throws a weapon (Chaos blade, Nagra rock, etc). Since you have the catch ability on, the weapons will be yours.

Full cure

To cure your party in battle first put the battle mode on active. Then cast Regain on your party. After Regain, but before the next spell, open the PlayStation door. The battle will stop, but the regain won't.

Duplicate weapons

Set the Ninja "Two Swords" skill on anyone. Equip a shield in their right hand, and the item you want duplicated in their left. Now go to a shop that sells the items you want duplicated, choose "BEST FIT" and buy them. Next, go to the formation screen and remove the items. You should now have two of the item you had in the left hand. For example, to duplicate Excaliber, go to Lionel castle's shop. You'll get a second Excalibur for only 10 gold!

Instantly kill undead

To instantly kill an undead (ghouls, skeletons, etc), simply throw them a Phoenix Down. You will never miss and they'll die instantly! Note: When you kill undead this way a timer will appear. If you don't finish the game before the timer reaches 0 the undead will rise again.

Get Cloud

This tip must be done during Chapter Four. Not that you should have about six empty spaces in your formation screen before attempting this.

1. Go to Zeltennia Castle and listen to the rumor called "Cursed Island".

2. Buy a flower from Aeris at Zarghidas Trade City then go to Goug machine city with Mustadio. The screen will fade and go to a scene of Mustadio, Ramza and a steel ball. 3. Go to the bar in Goland Coal City and listen to the rumor of the "Ghost of Colliery".

4. After this, go to Lesalia Imperia and the screen should shown a scene of a bar. When you leave, invite Beowulf to join your party.

5. Now that you have Beowulf, go to Goland Coal City and you will fight 4 battles here and save Reis. After you save Reis you will get a Zodiac Stone that will trigger the steel ball.

6. Return to Goug Machine City again and add the Robot to your party.

7. Now that you have the robot, go to Nelveska Temple. You will fight another robot kill him and you will recieve a stone that will bring Cloud to your world.

8. Now go back to Goug Machine City and you will trigger the time portal machine and it will suck Cloud from the future bringing him to your world.

9. Now go to Zarghidas Trade City and save Cloud from the thieves that are punking Aeris. Note: If this part didn't work make sure that you killed Dycerag and his Zodiac Soul Adramelk.

When Cloud joins your party all he can do is defend and attack. You'll need to find his Materia Blade so that he can use all of his limit attacks from Final Fantasy VII.

The Materia Blade is located in the Bervania Volcano. Set your party's on Move-Find Item Then go to the highest tall rock and go to the top of it.

Easy Level Gain and Job Points

Before you can do this you'll need to learn ACCUMULATE and (if possible) theJP-UP skill. You also need at least one monk with the CHAKRA skill for thisto work.

Walk across any green dot until you are attacked, then kill all but oneenemy. Next, find five squares that form an + and are on the same heightlevel. Have the monk stand in the center with all other characters in theadjacent squares. Use accumalte over and over and when your attacked just usechakra to gain back your health. Repeat as desired.

Gain 5 or more Levels in One Fight

You know how you get exp with one hit? What if your character is so strong,it kills with one hit. What if you can hit someone over 20 times without yourguidence and safely return home. What you need is a wizard, and an oracle ormediator.

What you do is you turn your enemies into frogs. It is time consuming, but itis worth it. (You can increase chances by using oracle "pray faith." Oncethat is done. and I know this sounds weird, turn your strong character into afrog. Then with oracle or mediator, put him into berserk. This will allow himto fight on auto-battle without running away. Keep your character well healed.

Move the rest of your characters far away from the fight. Frogs VS Frogs. Putthem on auto battle in "Run like a rabbit" mode so they don't interfere. Theyshouldn't interfere.

Leave it on over night. By morning that character will rise 5-10 levels, andhave over 2000-5000 hp points.

Ultimate Summon

After beating the battle in the holy land of Myurond, go to the seaportWo-jirius. Following an short event you can go into Dieve dungeon, and fromthe tenth floor of the basement you will be able to learn the ultimate summon(equivalent to Knights of the Round from FFVII.)

Hint

First get a mediator or an oracle. Then learn any skill that lowers brave points. Then all you have to do is lower someone's brave points below 10. They'll turn into a chicken. They can't attack, they just run away.NOTE: They gain 1 brave point every turn, so keep it under 10 or they'll turn back.

Character tip

This character should be a powerful attacker and magic user.

R-Hand: Mace of Zeus L-Hand: Aegis ShieldHead: Flash HatArmor: Robe of LordsAccessory: Genji Gauntlet

Primary Skill: Yin-Yang Magic (Character should be an Oracle)Secondary Skill: Math SkillReaction Skill: Abandon (or Blade Grasp)Support Skill: Equip ShieldMovement Skill: Move-HP Up

This should give you AT+6, MA+6, Speed+1, Always Protect, Always: Shell,Magic EV%: 50, the character evades attacks most of the time (even gunattacks if you use Blade Grasp!), and the ability to gain HP every time thecharacter moves! For the best results, have the character be a master Wizard,Priest, Time Mage, Oracle, Calculator for the Math Skill part.

I chose an Oracle, because it's the most powerful (physically) magician outof all of them, and it can equip the Mace and Robe.

Easy level up and jobs level up

To use this 'strategy', make sure that ramza's job is currently SQUIRE. Youcan use this strategy only in battles. I suggest that you use this strategy duringany random encounters.

First of all, there are 2 ways of using this stratergy:

a) Yelling to yourself.

During battles, Ramza can use the ability, Yell, to increase his speed by+1. Here how it goes. When you yell to yourself, your speed increase by +1.Furthermore, you'll get 10 JP and 10 exp if I'm not mistaken. So, all you have to do isto yell at yourself ( Ramza ) each time it's Ramza's turn. By increasing your speed, you'll notice that in a short time, Ramza will increase his speed to anunimaginable level that everytime he finishes moving, he will move again. Also, when you changeRamza's job, you can put the squire's ability and yell your guts out! Not only doyou get easy JP for your other jobs but your team members share your JP as well.

Pros: By using this tactic, Ramza will level quite fast especially with theJP. Same goes with the teammates.

Cons: If you use this tactics, you'll notice that the higher yourcharacter's level, the higher the monster's level when you encounter a random battle. Maximum speedis restricted to 50 so upon reaching that level your yelling won't work anymoreand you'll ave to yell at somebody else ( Refer to section b ).

b) Yelling to somebody else.

This tactic is the same as above only that you'll need to either yell tosomebody else INSTEAD of yourself or yell to somebody else AND yourself. I suggest thatyou choose the latter as it balances your speed and everybody else's. Also, byyelling to somebody else, you still recieve 10 JP but only 1 EXP if I'm not mistaken.Use this strategy if you don't want any high level random encounters (and when Isaid high level random encounters, i MEAN high level random encounters).

Pros : Easy job level up for everybody and avoids high level encounters.

Cons : Actually slow as you'll have to balance levelling up and fighting themonsters. I suggest that you put a few knights in your party as they can break themonsters abilities so you don't have to worry about any monsters including those withhigh level as all their attributes are 1 after you break them.

Have a jump skill and chakara (Or samurais Murasame will do)

Wait until he does his "Lightning stab" then jump (Lancer skill) on him, once you do that back off and heal yourself. He will back of too (But he can't heal jim self), and DO NOT follow him. Two or 3 jumps will kill him. When he becomes amonster have all party equiped with "jump" (Lancer) command. Couple of gruop jumps will kill him and his summondoes not hurt you.
